Singer/songwriter Miley Cyrus said in a new interview that the Kardashians are better than Republican nominee Donald Trump, because at least they’re not trying to run the country.
“This is not a dig,” she said in an interview with Variety Tuesday. “But I do think there’s something that goes with the Kardashians and Trump. The Kardashians are better than Trump, because they are not trying to run the country. They are just trying to be famous, and that’s fine.”
Cyrus, one of the new judges on “The Voice,” said that when Trump announced his run for presidency, she laughed and thought it won’t go anywhere. “[T]here’s no way he’ll be the candidate,” she said.
Cyrus, a big Bernie Sanders supporter, had a few choice words for the Vermont senator’s supporters who are not voting for Hillary Clinton. She said it’s “f—king crazy and you’re out of your mind.”
“If you could ever consider Donald Trump, you never understood Bernie in the first place,” Cyrus said.
Earlier this year, the musician wrote in an Instagram post that “Donald Trump is a f—king nightmare” and said “I am moving if this is my president” in another post.
