A former NSA contractor pleaded guilty Friday to making false statements on her timesheets to collect $100,000 more than she was owed.
Ann Warwick, 46, of Columbia, faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Warwick worked for Business Consulting Technology, a subcontractor which conducted intelligence analyst work for the National Security Agency. She worked at NSA headquarters.
According to prosecutors, from August 2009 to July 2010, Warwick overstated the number of hours she worked on more than 150 days, and claimed to have worked 57 days when she had not. NSA ended up paying her $108,000 for work she did not perform, according to documents.
