Published November 15, 2012 10:00pm ET

ST. LOUIS (AP) — In a story Nov. 13 about low water on the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and the ramifications for shipping, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the Army Corps of Engineers expects to cut flow from the Gavins Point Dam in South Dakota to 12,000 cubic feet per second from 17,000 cubic feet per second starting around Nov. 23. In fact, the corps plans to cut the flow to 12,000 cubic feet per second from 36,500 cubic feet per second.
