Oregon elections boss fired after allegedly making complaints over IT problems

Oregon Elections Director Steve Trout was fired last week over alleged concerns about IT problems affecting the Secretary of State’s Office, state officials said on Tuesday.

Trout reportedly received notice of his firing via text message on Thursday night as counties throughout the state were swamped with ballots from election day.
