Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump sarcastically wished Hillary Clinton “lots of luck” with the “ISIS-aligned” Syrian refugees coming into the United States.
Trump made the comment as an aside while criticizing Clinton and President Obama’s policy regarding the Syrian civil war. He suggested that their mistakes have contributed to the refugee crisis and thus led to refugees being brought into the country.
“This is what has caused the great migration, where she’s taking in tens of thousands of Syrian refugees who probably, in many case not probably, who are definitely in many cases, ISIS-aligned,” Trump said. “And we now have them in our country and wait til you see — this is going to be the great Trojan horse — and wait til you see what happens in the coming years. Lots of luck, Hillary. Thanks a lot. You’re doing a great job.”
