President Trump lashed out at the “Fake News Media” and called them “truly bad people” for criticism he received following his latest statement on the violence in Charlottesville, Va., in which he condemned white supremacist groups.
“Made additional remarks on Charlottesville and realize once again that the #Fake News Media will never be satisfied…truly bad people!” Trump said.

One woman was killed and 19 others were injured when a man drove a car into a crowd of people at a counter-protest against a white supremacist rally.
Trump received criticism over the weekend after his initial condemnation of the “hatred” did not specify particular groups.
Later on Monday, Trump called out “the KKK, neo-nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups” as “criminals and thugs” in a speech at the White House.
Trump also continued his attacks on Merck, a large American pharmaceutical company, after its CEO, Kenneth Frazier, left Trump’s American Manufacturing Council.
“@Merck Pharma is a leader in higher & higher drug prices while at the same time taking jobs out of the U.S. Bring jobs back & LOWER PRICES!” Trump tweeted.
Frazier, one of the few African-American CEOs of a Fortune 500 company, announced his resignation from the council Monday morning after Trump’s statements about violence in Charlottesville over the weekend.
“Now that Ken Frazier of Merck Pharma has resigned from President’s Manufacturing Council,he will have more time to LOWER RIPOFF DRUG PRICES!” Trump tweeted early Monday morning.
