The Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance is hosting a forum Thursday in Herndon on every Virginian’s favorite topic — transportation funding.
The event will feature presentations from Virginia Department of Transportation officials and remarks from area legislators, including Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Colgan, D-Prince William, and Senate Majority Leader Dick Saslaw, D-Fairfax.
The program begins at 8 a.m. at the Center for Innovative Technology Auditorium at 2214 Rock Hill Road.
An email from the alliance channels Daniel Patrick Moynihan, touting that “there are many different opinions on transportation funding, but only one set of facts.”
