Police in Sterling Heights, Michigan, released footage showing officers chasing a car with what they said was an illegal immigrant who was transporting at least 20,000 fentanyl pills from a drug cartel in Mexico.
Police noticed a strange BMW with tinted windows at about 5:50 p.m. April 8 as it was headed north through the city, authorities said.
An attempt was made to stop the car, but the vehicle fled and drove into a dead-end road where a chase ensued on foot, according to a report.
