An acapella group from Tennessee led a Chick-fil-A full of strangers in a rendition of Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me,” earlier this month.
The Acapella Ministries Worship Leader Institute went to the restaurant in Nashville and began singing. By the end of the song, most patrons were singing and clapping along with Chick-fil-A employees joining in on the rendition.
The now-viral video, which was posted on July 4 by Jake Jones, has been viewed over 1.2 million times.
“The flash mob was planned to encourage patrons and employees at the Chick-Fil-A,” Jones told Fox News. “We feel it is our mission in life to spread God’s awesome news through the talents and gifts He’s given us. What better way than to lift people up in song!”
“Whenever you get a group of acapella worship leaders together it’s hard for us not to sing together,” Jones added.
