The Republican National Committee on Wednesday attempted to downplay the details of former FBI Director James Comey’s opening statement to the Senate Intelligence Committee.

“Trying to find something of substance in Comey’s opening statement,” the Republican National Committee said in a tweet from its official account, which was complete with a GIF of Ethan Hawke in the American Western flick “In a Valley of Violence.”
