Wonderland Ballroom [1101 Kenyon St. NW], and I know this sounds corny because I do work there, but Busboys & Poets [2021 14th St. NW]. It’s become a second home.

2. BEST MODE OF TRANSPORTATION

My Chevy.
 
3. FAVORITE LOCAL SPORTS EVENT

Ehhh. I don’t watch sports, but I live across from the Nationals Stadium, so really that’s the only real local sports event I know of.

4. BEST PLACE FOR LIVE MUSIC

Madam’s Organ [2461 8th St. NW] and Bukom Cafe [2442 18th St. NW].
 
5. BEST PLACE FOR OUT-OF-TOWN VISITORS

I would say walking around Adams Morgan and U Street. 

6. FAVORITE MUSEUM

National Museum of African Art.

7. MOST ROMANTIC SPOT

Aww, Meridian Park.

8. FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND A LAZY SUNDAY

Hmm, Meridian Park, or home in bed streaming bootleg movies.

Back up to Jersey to visit friends.

Outside my window watching the busloads of people come for the Nationals games.

The week of Obama’s inauguration.

I believe the artist community here is open in spirit and I really love that.
