House Majority Whip Steve Scalise’s office announced Wednesday there will be no votes today in the House of Representatives after Scalise was shot during practice for the congressional baseball game earlier Wednesday morning.
“Members are advised that, given today’s events, no votes are expected in the House today. In addition, there will be no morning hour speeches at 10:00 a.m.,” a statement from Scalise’s office read.
