TOP SELLER: This is a critical vehicle for Ford, which has sold more than 2 million Escapes since it went on sale 12 years ago. The small SUV segment is one of the fastest growing in the U.S.
TOUGH COMPETITION: The Escape has formidable competitors, including the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. Ford also faces competition from its own Edge crossover, which is around the same size.
