Westminster weighs pledge to be greener

Westminster is one step closer to becoming the seventh city in Maryland to promise to combat global warming locally.

Mayor Thomas Ferguson requested a copy of the U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement on Monday from volunteers of the Catoctin Group, a Sierra Club chapter that encompasses Carroll, Frederick and Washington counties and boasts 900 members.
