Clinton campaign blasts Trump indecision in VP pick

Hillary Clinton’s campaign seizing on the confusing rollout of Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick this week, describing the presumptive Republican nominee as “not so decisive” in a video posted on social media.

The clip, featured in a tweet from Clinton, shows Trump telling reporters at various times that his shortlist of contenders included between 10 and two people.

“I’m at three, potentially four, but in my own mind, I probably am thinking about two,” Trump said on Wednesday.

Clinton’s campaign highlighted the struggle to tamp down reports that Trump had selected Indiana Gov. Mike Pence Thursday but then reconsidered his decision.

Unconfirmed reports alleged Trump had called his advisers around midnight on Thursday asking if he was locked into the decision to choose Pence. Trump and members of his team told the media that the real estate mogul had not reached a “final, final decision” just hours before Trump announced Pence as his running mate.

The Clinton campaign touted the fact that Trump has run on his “decision-making skills.”
