U.Md. officials suspend two fraternities for hazing

Two University of Maryland fraternities have been suspended for hazing members, according to the campus newspaper.

The Diamondback reported that the two fraternities are Kappa Alpha Psi and Sigma Beta Rho.

The Washington Examiner reported last week that 10 University of Maryland sorority members of Zeta Phi Beta are facing assault and hazing charges after a girl undergoing initiation off-campus said she was beaten, paddled and choked by the sorority sisters.
