Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton is most likely a far more vindictive person than presumed GOP nominee Donald Trump, the host of CBS News’ “Face the Nation” said this week.
John Dickerson’s remarks on the current party front-runners came during a radio interview Friday with conservative pundit Hugh Hewitt.
“Who do you think would be more vindictive towards their political enemies? Trump or Clinton?” the host asked.
“Oh, man. I don’t know. I think Clinton. Trump is very tough on those he does not like, as I know. But he gets over it. Now, having said that, also, but I think about some of the people who are now supporting Hillary Clinton, who supported [President Obama] last time, and where there were really hard feelings, and now she’s working in sync with them,” he added.
Hewitt agreed that of the two presumed presidential nominees, Clinton is likely more vindictive.
“I think your first instinct was right,” the host said.
