An Arizona woman is seeking to obtain the estate of her son, who authorities say shot his wife and children before killing himself in a Tampa-area mansion that belonged to a former tennis star.
The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/1jhDKss ) reports Mary Catherine Campbell filed paperwork in Hillsborough County probate court on June 6. She says she’s the only surviving heir to her son’s estate.
Authorities say 49-year-old Darrin Campbell set off $600 of fireworks in the $1.6 million home he was renting from retired tennis player James Blake in the early morning hours of May 7. The bodies of Campbell, his 51-year-old wife Kimberly, 18-year-old Collin and 16-year-old Megan were found inside.
In the court documents, Mary Campbell appointed her son Dale as her representative.
