D.C. fire investigators are asking the public for help in catching an arsonist who has set car fires across the city over the past month.
Police are concentrating their efforts in the Northwest Washington area between Georgia Avenue to 16th Street, to Columbia Road to the south and Arkansas Avenue to the north. A few cars and scooters were torched around the Woodner Apartments.
Most of the incidents occurred late at night or in the early morning hours.
