CNBC reporter John Harwood questioned the quality of President Trump’s health, saying that he “did not look well” during the G-7 summit in Canada.
“I’ll be honest, as a citizen, I’m concerned about the president’s state of mind,” Harwood said Saturday on MSNBC. “He did not look well to me in that press conference. He was not speaking logically or rationally.”
He added, “I don’t know what it means, but he did not look well to me.”
Trump has had a highly active public schedule in recent days, which included the G-7 summit, to his arrival Sunday in Singapore for the highly anticipated meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Harwood’s comments are the latest example of journalists questioning the president’s health. Michael Wolff’s sensational Fire and Fury book set off months of speculation earlier this year about Trump’s mental health.
The president’s former personal physician Ronny Jackson, however, said earlier this year that Trump is in overall very good health, both physically and mentally.
Jackson, a rear admiral, is now the subject of a Defense Department investigation after several misconduct allegations came to light that sunk his bid as Trump’s nominee to run the Department of Veterans Affairs.
