The New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested on Sunday evening for his alleged role in the battery of another person.
Kamara, 26, was apprehended after being located by officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, according to a statement from the police department. Kamara was arrested after having played in the Pro Bowl earlier that day.

The LVMPD said that on Feb. 5, they had received a call around 5:50 p.m. that there had been a battery that had taken place at a local nightclub, according to the police statement.
“The investigation by LVMPD Detectives determined the victim was battered by the suspect, later identified as Alvin Kamara,” the police said in the statement. “He was located and taken into custody without incident on February 6, 2022.”

Kamara was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for “battery resulting in substantial bodily harm,” according to the police statement.
The Washington Examiner reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for comment but did not receive a response back.
