GOP raised record-high $30M at Tuesday dinner that featured Trump

The National Republican Congressional Committee raised a record-high $30 million at its Tuesday dinner that featured an appearance from President Trump.

Trump touted many of his campaign promises and how he has followed through on them during his speech at the event, which took place at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

After spending much of the day rallying support for the American Health Care Act on Capitol Hill, Trump told attendees at the event that the GOP faced a “crucial” vote later this week when the Obamacare replacement plan is expected to be brought up.

Much of Trump’s speech focused on other policies he plans to push through the Republican-controlled legislative branch, though the message appears to have resonated with donors, if the high fundraising numbers are any indication.
