As VP speculation heightens, Clinton adds Florida events

CLEVELAND — As speculation mounts about Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential pick, the presumptive Democratic nominee added multiple events to her Florida campaign schedule.

In addition to her already scheduled Tampa rally at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Clinton added a roundtable discussion Friday morning in Orlando. She will also hold a rally in Miami on Saturday at noon.

According to multiple reports, Clinton will announce her running mate during this trip to Florida, setting stage for the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week.

Although many Democrats have been floated to be the former secretary of state’s VP, including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, the list is believed to have narrowed down to Virginia Sen. Time Kaine, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Labor Secretary Tom Perez and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
