‘Villains’: Pink Floyd co-founder claims Pence and Pompeo will ‘kill every living thing on this planet’

Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters claimed that Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will “kill every living thing on this planet.”

Waters joined Michael Moore on his podcast last week and called the Trump administration officials “villains” while lauding socialism during his expansive interview with the filmmaker.

“There’s no heroes and villains, really, in any of this. You get to the real villains. Mike Pompeo, Mike Pence. Yeah. Those are real villains, because they’re going to kill us all if they get a chance,” Waters said. “They will kill every living thing on this planet. They will have a nuclear war with Russia or China if they get the chance.”

The musician added that “socialism is great” and called it the “real ‘s’ word.”

Waters also said that he has a difficult relationship with the United States even though he loves “the people.”

“I have this real love-hate relationship with this great country and it is a great country. And I love the people,” he said. “At heart, the American people are such good people. It’s so shocking to see they’ve had their goodwill subverted by the propaganda they listen to everyday.”

Waters previously spoke out about politics in April when he called presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden a “f—ing slimeball.”

“Biden is such a f—ing slimeball, he’s so weak, and has no appeal to anybody,” he said. “Trump, at least, is a snake oil salesman, he does tricks. He does them really badly, but people don’t care. … I’m so flabbergasted and gobsmacked by the way the Democratic National Committee has railroaded Bernie … again. And has put in place a candidate — I can’t imagine Biden beating Trump in an election.”

“I honestly don’t know where I stand on that lesser of two evils question,” he continued. “I’m not sure the path to a new America that is not ruled by the current ruling class — by money, plutocracy, and a capitalist society — will be made any easier with Biden as president.”
