One person was killed and another was seriously wounded in a shooting at a Department of Public Works lot in Northeast Washington early Wednesday.
Police said the gunman was wearing a public works uniform.
The shooting happened around 6:15 a.m. in the parking lot at 1241 W Street NE, Officer Istmania Bonilla said.
