Twitter erupted with jokes about President Trump after he sneaked a peek at the eclipse without wearing protective eyewear Monday.
Looking at the sun without protective eyewear can burn your retinas, leaving a person at least partially blind.
As Trump looked up at the solar eclipse without his eclipse glasses, someone at the White House yelled, “Don’t look!”
The president, first lady Melania Trump, their son Barron, and Ivanka Trump all viewed the solar eclipse from the Truman Balcony at the White House.
