WATCH: Dr. Drew switches to Rumble after YouTube blocks him over vaccine video

Dr. Drew Pinsky announced Friday that YouTube has locked his channel for a week, so he livestreamed on Rumble instead.

YouTube also deleted the video that caused the strike on his channel, which was the channel’s second-most popular video, according to Pinsky.

“Thankfully [Rumble] supports free speech,” Pinsky tweeted.

The video in question featured the celebrity doctor discussing the effects of the COVID-19 vaccine. Pinsky has been pro-vaccine from the start and admitted that most who experienced effects still did not regret getting the vaccine.

On the Rumble livestream, Pinsky’s wife, Susan, talked about their own 20-something children who chose to receive a booster shot and experienced negative side effects. The two agreed that if their children were under 18, they wouldn’t have bothered getting them vaccinated against COVID-19.

“Should ‘Big Tech’ have the power to censor debates between doctors … and how can social platform moderators correctly identify ‘medical misinformation’ unless they are doctors themselves?” the video’s caption reads.

“We’ll be back on YouTube eventually,” Pinsky said.

Pinsky boasted an audience of over 58,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 3.8 million views on his videos. Meanwhile, he has over 113,000 subscribers on Rumble as of this report.
