The Baltimore Development Corp. has received six responses to its requests for qualifications on behalf of Baltimore City for Gateway South, an 11-acre waterfront site on the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River in Southwest Baltimore.
The project area consists of three disposition parcels, called Disposition Lots 1, 2 and 4, by the Carroll Camden Urban Renewal Plan. Gateway South is south of M&T Bank Stadium, north of Interstates 295 and 95 and east of the 500-acre Carroll Camden Industrial Park, which employs more than 7,700 people in 165 companies.
According to the BDC, the project will anchor the east side of Carroll Camden, which is already anchored on the west by the Montgomery Park Business Center.
Firms that responded to the request were The Benade Group Inc., Cormony Development LLC, Henrietta Development Corp., Himmelrich Associates/Doracon Development LLC, Manekin LLC and Stadium Shore Walk LLC.
