Former Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., who co-chairs Gov. Bob McDonnell’s Commission on Military and National Security Facilities, is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser for Fairfax County Supervisor Pat Herrity Wednesday.
Davis, who said it’s unlikely that he’ll jump into what could be a crowded GOP race for U.S. Senate in 2012, is nonetheless keeping busy. In addition to serving on McDonnell’s military commission, he’s involved with the recently-formed “No Labels,” an national group of politicians attempting to cut across the vast political spectrum to find common goals while tempering partisanship.
The lunch for Herrity, who was felled in the 11th Congressional District GOP primary by Keith Fimian in June, is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the 2941 restaurant in Falls Church.
