Bluesman Stackhouse to be honored with marker

WESSON, Miss. (AP) — Houston Stackhouse, famed for teaching and mentoring other blues artists, will be honored with a Mississippi Blues Trail marker on Wednesday in Wesson.

Although Houston Stackhouse never became a major name in blues, he played key roles in Delta blues history as a sideman, mentor and influence.
