Jared Kushner registered to vote in New York as a woman

Jared Kushner is registered to vote as a woman in the state of New York.

According to voter records from the New York State Board of Elections, Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and a senior adviser at the White House, is listed as a female.

The gender inaccuracy was first identified by American Bridge, a liberal opposition research firm, and reported by Wired.

The president’s son-in-law was also registered to vote in two states: New York and New Jersey.

Kushner has a varied portfolio at the White House, but he has come under scrutiny for his contacts with Russian officials.

The senior adviser amended his security clearance form multiple times, including to add a meeting with a Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, he attended at Trump Tower last year.

A statement released by the White House addressing the meeting, which involved Donald Trump Jr. and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, has become one of several focuses of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Most recently, it was revealed Kushner used a private email address to conduct official government business. Kushner set up the account in December, and a lawyer for the president’s son-in-law said he sent or received fewer than 100 emails to the private address from January to August.
