Federal agencies in the Washington D.C. area will open on a two hour delay following a winter weather advisory for a storm that is expected to bring freezing rain, sleet, and ice.
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management tweeted that federal agencies will open on the two hour delay and will have the option of using unscheduled leave and telework days. District of Columbia Public Schools will also open on a two hour delay.

The advisory, issued by The Weather Channel, will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. It is expected that there will be ice accumulations up to one-tenth of an inch, causing slippery road conditions. The northern and western suburbs of Washington D.C. will see the most ice, according to The Weather Channel.
