DNC Chair Schultz Struggles to Defend Hillary

On Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace repeatedly asked Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz about the attacks between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. She repeatedly refused to address them, instead opting to talk about the Republican primary.

When asked about the divisions in her party, Schultz said, “When you look at what’s happened this week on the other side of the aisle… pointed differences between our candidates that, at the end of this primary—it pales in comparison to what’s played out on the other side of the aisle.”

Wallace interjected and asked her whether Sanders’ attacks on Clinton for not standing up to Wall Street and big business are helpful “to electing a Democratic president.”

Schultz again dodged and explained how Sanders and Clinton are similar.

Wallace later asked her about the lack of enthusiasm for Clinton, and she again dodged and began talking about Republicans.
