The Washington Humane Society is kicking off its “Hope for the Holidays” campaign on Black Friday. Adoption fees will be cut in half through the end of the year, and the nonprofit will offer animal photo shoots throughout the holiday season. For a $20 donation, animals can have their photo shot with Santa Claus at seven locations in December, including Hyattsville, McLean and five sites in the District.
