Md. agency plans move to Prince George’s

Gov. Martin O’Malley will announce the transfer of a Maryland agency to Prince George’s County on Friday.

O’Malley is touting the move as the first step in realizing a “transit-oriented development vision” that will draw more state agencies to the county.

Prince George’s lawmakers often have complained that state agencies and private companies alike overlook them for their wealthier neighbor, Montgomery County.
