Video footage of porn star Stormy Daniels’ arrest last week for inappropriately engaging in physical contact with a strip club customer has been released by Columbus, Ohio police.
Charging documents claim Daniels was topless as she inappropriately touched a female officer, and then placed her own torso in the officer’s face. The video depicts a handcuffed Daniels entering a van.
“If you use any anatomical part of your body, like your chest, to put it on peoples’ face, that’s a misdemeanor in the first degree,” an officer says in the video.
Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, argued the arrest was “politically motivated” and that the charges were “bogus.” Charges against Daniels were subsequently dropped following a review of the case.
Daniels has been embroiled in a legal battle with President Trump concerning an alleged extramarital affair. Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 in exchange for her silence on the affair, but she filed a lawsuit earlier this year claiming the nondisclosure agreement she signed should be nullified because Trump didn’t sign it and has sued Cohen and Trump for defamation. Trump denies the alleged Daniels affair.
