WHAT: Barack Obama’s nominee for Secretary of the Treasury admitted he didn’t pay his own self-employment taxes for Social Security and Medicare for four years.
WHY IT’S DIM: Since the Treasury secretary is in charge of the Internal Revenue Service. At the very least, the person in this position should not have a tax problem.
CURE: Is the transition team doing it’s job properly?
