A 19-year-old Florida man was arrested on Monday after being accused of murdering two women.
Sage Curry, of Largo, Florida, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and burglary shortly after he allegedly followed two women home after seeing them in public, according to Fox 8. He is accused of entering the home of the two women through a bedroom window, grabbing a knife, and then stabbing the first victim multiple times in the early hours of Monday morning.

When the other woman heard the commotion, she reportedly tried to save the other victim. However, Curry turned the knife on her. The second victim injured him, and he decided to seek medical treatment from a neighbor, the Largo Police Department said.
Police have not released the names of the victims, though neighbors told Fox 8 that the victims were a mother and her daughter.
“At this time, we are not releasing any additional information as detectives are actively working the investigation,” Lieutenant Scott Gore with the Largo Police Department said, per WFLA.
In a statement, law enforcement officials said they believe the murders were a “random act,” given the parties had “no known relationship” but noted, “that could change as the investigation continues.”
While the arrest report indicates the alleged perpetrator showed signs of mental health issues, alcohol and drugs were not involved, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
