A grand jury has indicted a United States Air Force master sergeant for allegedly trafficking drugs and firearms.
Master Sgt. Michael Reimers, 39, was charged on Tuesday, according to the Department of Justice. Assigned to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, he was charged with selling cocaine and about 50 grams of methamphetamine, as well as selling three guns without a license.
He is said to have sold an AK-47, a .25 caliber pistol, and a 12-gauge shotgun. Authorities say Reimers sold the shotgun to an illegal immigrant.
Reimers joined the Air Force in 2000 and serves in the 99th Communications Squadron stationed at Nellis.
