The small dollar lending rule must not pass

In case you missed the memo, the economy is in far from stellar condition. The workforce participation rate is sitting at 62.8 percent, the lowest it’s been since the Carter administration.

Our past presidents’ reckless fiscal and monetary policies created this bleak economy. As a result of their reckless mismanagement, over 40 percent of Americans don’t have enough cash to cover an unexpected $400 expense. Now, more than 12 million Americans — that’s 1 in 20 adults — have to take out at least one short-term loan a year in order to make ends meet for their families.
