Saturday Night Live stars Michael Che and Colin Jost handed out Trump-branded bottles of water outside the Democratic National Convention, only to watch some people refuse to drink it despite the heat.
“Don’t let hate change the way you hydrate,” Che chanted to the many people passing by while Jost said it appeared many “people are on the fence about water, I guess.”
“Ah no!” screeched one woman after she accepted a bottle only to see it labeled “Trump Ice” and illustrated with a portrait of the Republican presidential nominee. “I’d rather die of thirst.”
Another woman took a sip, only to spit it on the ground after judging the contents “totally tasteless.”
Some ended up drinking the water after Che conducted an aggressive marketing campaign. “God made water; Trump put it in bottles,” he said.
“Jesus turned water into wine; Trump turned ice into water,” he added.
