Bruce Springsteen predicts Biden victory, says he’ll be on ‘first plane’ to Australia if Trump wins

Rock ‘n’ roll superstar Bruce Springsteen suggested he might move to Australia if President Trump wins reelection but predicted he will lose in November.

“I would consider that,” the 71-year-old rocker told Australian press in a virtual chat when asked if he would ever consider moving to Australia. “If Trump is reelected — which he will not be; I’m predicting right now he’s gonna lose — if by some happenstance he should be, I’ll see you on the next plane.”

The “Born To Run” singer added that he always enjoys visiting the island nation.

“I love Australia,” he said. “Every time, we have nothing but good times down there. It’s always a treat to come. Love the people, love the geography, great place for motorcycle trips, it’s close to our hearts.”

Springsteen, whose new album, Letter To You, is due out next week, has been a consistent critic of Trump since his election and recently took part in an ad supporting Joe Biden’s presidential campaign targeting Pennsylvania voters.

Springsteen told an Australian crowd in 2017 that he was “embarrassed” to be an American and said this past June that he isn’t sure if democracy in the United States can “stand another four years” of a Trump presidency.
