Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., said Monday no one in America will be able to maintain privacy online if lawmakers are not paying attention to social media sites and their handling of users’ personal information.
“If we don’t watch out for social media and platforms like Facebook and the mistakes that they’ve made in the past, then no American is going to have any privacy anymore,” Nelson said in summation after meeting with Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
