FedEx and UPS halt shipments to Russia amid war in Ukraine

Two of the largest shipping companies based in the United States announced that they will suspend shipments to Russia amid the war in Ukraine.

The decision made by United Parcel Service and FedEx Corp. to stop inbound shipments to Russia adds to the list of isolation that Russia’s economy is currently experiencing.

“Our focus is on the safety of our people, providing continued service and minimizing disruption to our customers,” UPS said in a service alert. “UPS continues to closely monitor the situation and will re-establish service as soon as it is practical and safe to do so.”
