Good news. Joy Wilke at Gallup reports that Americans are feeling increasingly upbeat. Recent polling data indicates that:
Twenty-three percent of Americans say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the U.S. at this time …
Which may not sound all that red hot. But, then, it is:
… seven points higher than last year’s low of 16% in October, which came during the government shutdown.
Still, it is:
… lower than the April 2013 high of 30%.
So if we can get one-third of the American people feeling satisfied with the way things are going, we can beat 2014.
Gives us something to shoot for.
