An Ohio woman was arrested Thursday after admitting to stabbing her young children, according to authorities.
The woman called 911 from outside Franklin Park Mall in Toledo and informed the dispatcher she had stabbed her two children, ages 7 and 8, Lucas County Sheriff Mike Navarre said, according to WTOL 11.

Deputies who arrived at the woman’s home found the two wounded children. One child is in critical condition, while the other is seriously hurt, though not as severely as the first child, the sheriff said.

The mother is in police custody and will be questioned as investigators look into the incident, according to the report.
