Roethlisberger charity to make donation to MoCo sheriff’s office

Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger Thursday announced his charity organization would make a donation to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

According to county officials, the sheriff’s office will use the grant to buy explosive detection training supplies and equipment for K-9 teams.

The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation is distributing grants to police and fire departments in the Pittsburgh area, as well as surrounding communities of each regular season away game for the Steelers.

The Baltimore Ravens host the Steelers on Sunday.
