Virginia wife pleads in terror case

The wife of a Bristow, Va., man who has admitted to aiding a Somali terrorist group pleaded guilty to making a false statement to authorities about the case.

Proscovia Kempire Nzabanita, 26, is the wife of Zachary Chesser, who is facing 20 years in prison for spreading terrorist propaganda and attempting to join an al-Qaeda linked terror group.

He also made online threats against the creators of “South Park” television show.

Nzabanita, a native of Uganda, admitted in federal court in Alexandria that she lied about her husband’s efforts to go to Somalia.

She will be sentenced and deported.
