Bill O’Reilly’s new book Old School: Life in the Sane Lane debuted on the top of the New York Times bestseller list amid controversy surrounding the Fox News host.
The list, which will appear in the print Book Review on April 16, reflects sales from March 26-April 1. O’Reilly’s book was released March 28.
The book’s release comes amid reports that 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News, paid millions of dollars to five women who accused O’Reilly of sexual harassment.
O’Reilly has denied any wrongdoing.
President Trump defended O’Reilly on Wednesday in an interview with the New York Times.
“I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally I think he shouldn’t have settled,” Trump said. “Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”
