The head of the D.C. Housing Authority has won a top national honor.
Adrianne Todman received the “Executive Director of the Year” award from the National Alliance of Resident Services in Affordable and Assisting Housing at the organization’s conference in Orlando this weekend. Todman became head of the housing authority in December after serving in an interim capacity for a year.
“Since taking control of DCHA in December, her agency has been on a constant upward swing,” said NARSAAH Director Samuel Little.
With Todman at the helm, DCHA has developed new financing mechanisms to fund redevelopment of public housing.
